e would like to inform you that we have decided to stop all AVL business activities on 30.06.2025.
This message comes as a great surprise to you. We ourselves made this well-considered decision a few months ago, after a clear investigation of AVL together with our financial advisor. Last week we informed all our manufacturers that AVL will no longer be their distributor from 1.07.2025 and that they will have to look for a new distributor from now on. It is also a shock for our manufacturers that AVL is stopping, because we have done the exclusive distribution for most manufacturers for 25 years or more.
Practical information:
We will sell all new equipment in the showroom and our warehouse with an extra discount. This also applies to all orders that we receive from now on and before 30.06.2025.
In addition, there is also material in the showroom that can be used for demos, such as a projection screen, screens, stage elements, etc. We will sell this material as second-hand material and we can agree on a price with interested parties.
Remaining stock is on the website. You can request a login and/or request a quote by e-mail.
All AVL business activities will cease on 30.06.2025. The AVL VAT number will remain active for another 3 years for administrative reasons. You can still visit AVL daily until the end of June. After 30.06.2025, we can still be reached by telephone and we will be happy to assist you.
We will soon also instruct a real estate agency to sell our business premises with building. Given that there is currently no contact with the real estate agency or no agreements have been made with potential buyers, it is also possible to purchase other items such as tables, chairs, conference tables, etc. in addition to professional equipment.
We would also like to thank you all, very sincerely, for the trust you have given us all these years. Certainly in the past 3 years we have received very gratifying – and warm expressions of support by e-mail, by telephone and during a conversation within AVL. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to all of you because you were all our customers. Finally we can free up more time for children and grandchildren, who have been asking us for a long time, when grandpa and grandma will finally stop working. Luc will retire administratively within 3 years. In the meantime we have already started making new plans, but to enjoy life and no longer to work.
Our paths will certainly cross again.
